Board the iconic Sardegna 2 vessel at Watamu Pier at sunrise. This comfortable wooden boat sails out into the open Indian Ocean, cruising along the pristine Watamu coastline. Enjoy the sea breeze and watch flying fish leap across the bow as dolphins often escort the vessel.
Drop anchor at Watamu Marine National Park's world-class coral reef gardens. Don your snorkelling gear and dive into crystal-clear waters to encounter sea turtles, parrotfish, triggerfish, moray eels, and dazzling coral formations. The marine park has some of the best-preserved reef in East Africa.
Sail to a deserted sandbank emerging from the turquoise shallows. A fresh seafood lunch is served on the sand - grilled whole fish, calamari, coconut rice and tropical fruit. Then relax, swim, or simply soak up the Indian Ocean sunshine before the gentle sail back to Watamu Pier.
