Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru Safari

First Day – Lake Nakuru National Park

Early morning departure from your hotel or residence heading towards Lake Nakuru National Park, located in the Great Rift Valley. The drive offers scenic views of escarpments, lakes, and rural landscapes along the way.

Late in the morning, you will enter the park for your first safari, famous for its flamingos, rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and diverse birdlife.

Lunch will be served at the selected lodge or campsite, followed by time to relax overlooking the lake.

An afternoon game drive continues until sunset. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge or campsite near Lake Nakuru.

Second Day – Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

After an early breakfast, you will depart Lake Nakuru and drive towards the Masai Mara National Reserve, passing through the Rift Valley and Maasai countryside.

Arrival in Masai Mara is expected in the early afternoon, followed by lunch at the lodge or tented camp.

Later in the afternoon, enjoy your first safari in the Masai Mara, renowned for its open savannahs and high concentration of wildlife.

Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge or tented camp inside or near the reserve.

Third Day – Full Day in Masai Mara

Spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon safaris. This is one of the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.

A picnic lunch will be provided inside the reserve, allowing you to maximize wildlife viewing throughout the day.

In the evening, return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Fourth Day – Masai Mara and Return

Early morning safari in the Masai Mara, offering one last opportunity to observe predators during their most active hours.

After breakfast, you will exit the reserve and begin the return journey.

Arrival at your destination is expected in the late afternoon, with optional stops at scenic viewpoints or local villages along the route. (Accommodation options may include Lake Nakuru Lodge, Flamingo Hill Camp, Mara Serena Safari Lodge, and various luxury or mid-range tented camps in Masai Mara.)
