Masai Mara and Amboseli Safari

First Day – Masai Mara National Reserve

Early morning departure from your hotel or residence heading towards the Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey passes through the Great Rift Valley and scenic Maasai landscapes.

Arrival in the Masai Mara is expected in the early afternoon, followed by lunch at the selected lodge or tented camp.

In the afternoon, enjoy your first safari in the reserve, famous for its vast savannahs and exceptional concentration of wildlife.

Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge or tented camp inside or near the reserve.

Second Day – Full Day in Masai Mara

Spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon safaris. The reserve is home to the Big Five and offers excellent opportunities to spot predators and large herbivore herds.

A picnic lunch will be served inside the reserve to maximize game-viewing time.

In the evening, return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Third Day – Masai Mara to Amboseli

After an early breakfast, you will depart the Masai Mara and begin the journey towards Amboseli National Park, passing through changing landscapes and rural Kenyan towns.

Arrival in Amboseli is expected in the late afternoon, followed by check-in at the lodge or campsite.

If time permits, enjoy a short evening safari before dinner.

Dinner and overnight stay near Amboseli National Park.

Fourth Day – Amboseli National Park

Early morning safari in Amboseli National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

After breakfast, continue with a mid-morning safari, followed by lunch at the lodge.

The afternoon is dedicated to relaxation or another game drive within the park.

Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge or campsite near Amboseli.

Fifth Day – Amboseli and Return

Wake up early for a final safari in Amboseli, offering the best chances to see wildlife against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

After breakfast, you will exit the park and begin the return journey.

Arrival at your destination is expected in the late afternoon, with optional stops along the route. (Accommodation options may include Mara Serena Safari Lodge, various tented camps in Masai Mara, Amboseli Serena Lodge, and Kibo Safari Camp.)
